NEW Youth Agency Partnership Formed
4 of the area’s leading youth agencies YMCA Humber, Harbour Place, Shalom and Get Hooked on Positive Activities (GHoPA) have recently formed and formalised a new working partnership.
The aim of the collaborative partnership is to develop projects to meet the needs of disadvantaged young people, adults and families in North East Lincolnshire.
The 4 agencies already successfully worked very closely together and all share the same social values and aims.
John Manton, the new Stakeholder Relations Manager at the YMCA Humber was tasked with assisting the organisations to create a more formal “heads of terms” which ensures a more formal and even closer working relationship between all organisations.
All will now work on collaborative projects that have a mutual benefit to participating organisations and to the people they wish to serve.
As part of the partnership, Alan Burley will help research funding opportunities to support and sustain new partnership projects and new initiatives to help even more young disadvantaged people in our area.
Existing skills and resources of the organisations will now be accessible to each. Shared data and case histories will also give each organisation a much stronger ability to access grants and support funding.
The new partnership will soon encourage bring in other “like minded” external agencies to support and add value to working groups projects and funding bids.
