BTEC Edexcel Centre Approval

Managing Director Mark Fenty is delighted to have received official confirmation that GHoPA is now able to provide the local authority, schools, academies and training agencies with accredited Entry Level and Level 1 accredited (QCF) BTEC Awards and Certification in MEDIA, SPORTS & FITNESS and WORKSKILLS.

GHoPA’s existing commissioners know how good GHoPA is at engaging, enriching and inspiring young people’s lives through positive activities. 7 years of working with over 4,500 young people has firmly established that GHoPA has become of the area’s leading young people & family support organisations.

A natural progression for GHoPA was to add the ability for our users to gain real meaningful accreditation to support their personal skills / learning progression, CV and long term employment opportunities.

Most of our learners have some personal / social issues and many have had difficulties engaging with mainstream or further educational establishments.

GHoPA works when others fail simply because its highly qualified and skilled coaching staff are not teachers but people who are able to engage through its many positive activities developing individual learning plans designed to suit the learner’s personal abilities.
