Millennium Park is a 64-acre rural site located off Humberstone Avenue Grimsby. The site is owned by Persimmon Homes a nationwide building company who will begin the 400-home residential development in 2018.

The Trustees of Positive Activities Charity will work closely in partnership with Persimmon to ensure that this innovative project fits with their ethos, community social responsibility and adds value to the potential residents of the Humberston Park development along with the residents who live work and play in the North East Lincolnshire region.

15 acres of land has been gifted to Positive Activities a registered charity No 1139403 under a S106 Agreement for community use. Positive Activities and their delivery partner (GHoPA) Get Hooked on Positive Activities, will provide an accessible safe, attractive site supported by a range of affordable educational, leisure and recreational activities designed to provide the project with long term sustainable income.

Through community, residential and business consultation during the planning stages, the public have identified many kinds of facilities they would like to see.

Therefore, the desire of the Positive Activities Trustees, their Steering Advisory Group and many leading voices from our region will work collaboratively to facilitate as many of those wishes and desires which will leave a long-lasting legacy for the whole of our community. With the support of our community and local businesses, we aim to create:
