Wild Lincs
GHoPA delivered a ‘Wild Lincs’ outdoor activity day at the organisations rural location at East Ravendale. A group of learners with additional needs from CLS (Community Learning Services) were actively involved in 4 different activities during a very cold late December day.
All of the group had a go on the organisations Argocat all-terrain vehicle with GHoPA MD Mark Fenty. Then the group were then rotated through a forest nature trail with Emma Warrener, a problem solving & team building activity with Ian Disley and participated in a number of bush craft and survival skills with Dave Hunter.
Adventure based experiential learning helps build character, inspire confidence, improve trust and respect between team members and offers several health and wellbeing benefits. The group had a great time and plans to do it all again soon.
