Inspiring them to move forward with their lives
‘Inspiring them to move forward with their lives’
I have seen the GHOPA team work with disabled groups and young people from all over our region.
They do a really incredible job, always helping those who need expert guidance, positive activities and personalised support to support their individual needs.
First hand, I have seen how they engage, support the participant through expert coaching and inspire them to move forward with their lives. It’s a truly amazing thing to see that transitional process taking place. I see happy faces when I have been on sessions and it gives me and the Everest Team a real sense of confidence to support such a worthwhile project which has a real impact on local people’s lives.
It is my belief that “not for profit” organisations like this are the life blood of our community. They work with the primary and academy schools, young people’s support agencies, the local authority and Police.
We should all do our best to make sure they are available whenever members of our own families may need them.
I hope people reading will also do the same.
So impressed am I that I have become the Adventurous Activities Ambassador volunteer and will help the GHOPA Team to develop new and innovative outdoor programmes.
Perhaps there are individuals or businesses out there who may be able to help GHOPA raise much needed funds.”
